Qeshm Island is free duty zone. The western part of the island is a designated UNESCO Geopark. The extremely relaxed pace and incredible landscapes can be a welcome relief from the opulence of tourist attractions in the main cities. Hormuz Island is an Iranian island in the Persian Gulf. Located in the Strait of Hormuz, 8 kilometers off the Iranian coast, the island is part of Hormozgān Province.
